Open Fire Hydrant to the Face

"For some reason you are being tutored a lot right now."

There are things that occur in our lives at certain times and we don't know why. Then, as we are being taught and filled, ofttimes we feel like a fire hydrant has been opened and we are trying to catch every drop of water that comes out in our mouth.

For the last two weeks I have had water gushing into my face without catching most of it because I felt so overwhelmed. It all seemed to be coming so fast and I wasn't prepared for even a drop of it.

In the same sense, I have been trying to take everything that does come my way and internalize the rushing waters somehow. What an awesome opportunity! I have read so many talks and even finished two books. My soul hungers so much for the spiritual nutrients I have been finding.

I know that the things which are coming now will hold no candle to that which is to come. So, it is up to me, right now, to grow my faith so that I may withstand that which is to come.
