There will be a time when only our testimony of Jesus Christ will save us, and it is important for us to share that with as many people as possible.
On that same note, I look at many of the things we chose to let occupy our time. The other day someone said to me, "I don't have time..." What is that? Time is something we all have, it is a matter of what we chose to do with it. For me, the more correct grammar would be, "I haven't made time..." We are the masters of our time and our lives.
I think too, we justify those things we do. One friend of mine said, "I hate rap music." Great! I do to. Then he turns on his XBox and there is violence, women-degrading, and drugs... Well, what is rap about? Drugs, sex and violence. What makes the XBox any different from that music which he hates so much?
Do we sometimes become desensitized thinking that something is ok while we criticize the very same thing? The world is a jaded place. Games, television and other form of 'entertainment' aren't going to be what saves us. We will need our testimonies and that will be the only thing that will save us.
"The years have come and the years have gone, but the need for a testimony of the gospel continues paramount."
